Remember the news story about the beautiful, young Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader on the weekends who taught high school English during the week, Sarah Jones? Maybe this will ring a bell, she was accused of having sex with one of her high school students.

After months of vehemently denying the allegations that she had sex with her 17-year-old student, Cory York, Mrs. Robinson,Ms. Jones finally pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct and custodial interference. Bravo for accepting responsibility, right?

You’d think that but you would be wrong. She took a plea bargain in exchange for no jail time. First-degree sexual assault with a minor would have gotten her five years in jail. But telling the truth and continuing to have sex with your teen lover out in the open will get you a reality television show on Oxygen. And you thought MTV had no morals.

The beautiful cheerleader is being rewarded with a reality television show and is now “dating” the teen she had sex with. The age of consent in Kentucky is 16, so Cody York was technically not raped or molested. But she was his teacher and with that comes a certain amount of leverage.

She could have had sex with any other 16-year-old in the state and it would not have landed her in hot water, but there is a code of ethics for teachers and students and she violated that. It was the one thing off limits, completely taboo, and she went for it anyway. I think Ms. Jones likes to live on the wild side. She wants what she can’t have.

She walked out of the courthouse holding hands with the student she had just confessed to illegally having sex with because she was off the hook. You would at least have thought that she would have had the decency to wait until she got home to start kissing all over the boy who almost ruined her life, but I think that’s what she likes about him the most. He is her forbidden fruit.

I’m sure he’ll lose his appeal once he is no longer taboo. Honestly, what the hell do a 27-year-old woman and a 18-year-old boy have in common? Nothing, if you ask me. When I was 27, I wanted a man not a boy. I was a grown up and an 18-year-old was still in high school. You can’t bridge that gap at those ages.

Now, she is famous for having sex with a minor and instead of being locked up jail like she deserves to be, she’s getting a reality show. I have no interest in watching the antics of a December/May relationship to see how it plays out on network television. Let me sum it up for you, it won’t last. I’m envisioning a lot of immaturity and gratuitous sucking face.

Cody York was upset to be called a victim because he says he was a willing participant. What teen boy isn’t a willing participant when it comes to getting laid? He’s getting high fives, she’s getting her twisted kicks and together they are cashing in on breaking the law.

Will you be watching this reality show?
