Popsicle Molds to Make Every Day a Little Brighter
My daughter and I have been having a little fun in the kitchen the past couple of weeks. She appreciates treats so much more when she gets to participate, too. We enjoy experimenting with everything from healthy ice cream sandwiches made with bananas and oatmeal, plus whatever kind of flavoring we want, to popsicles.
Some of the neatest popsicle molds I’ve seen are:
Jewel Pop Molds from Tovolo, which come in a set of six and remind me of the Ring Pops I loved so much as a kid.
Ice Cream Pop Molds, also from Tovolo, which lend themselves to creamier popsicles because they look just like ice cream cones.
Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker from Williams-Sonoma, which is actually more than just a couple of molds. This setup lets you make two of any kind of popsicle you want—even cream-filled—in seven minutes.
The Star Frozen Pop Molds from Williams-Sonoma are some of the least original, but they’re still cute and perfect for summertime festivities.
The Lickety Pops Popsicle Molds from Perpetual Kid are good for a laugh and they allow you to make huge push-pops. You only get two in a box instead of a set of six like most of the others, but these are so funny-looking, it might not matter.
What are some of your favorite things to make with the kids? Do you have any favorite popsicle recipes?
