When you see everyone carrying around the same iPhone, Droid or iPad – it would be nice to have something personalized to differentiate you from the rest, but spending the time to do that can be daunting – so we’ve done some of the work for you.
We’re loving this new series from Savvy Sassy Moms – Geek Meets Chic where they feature fantastic tech accessories like iPad covers, USB drives that double as bracelets, phone cases that have slots for your credit cards when you’re looking to downsize for the night, and brightly hued headphones for when you want to keep your video and music streaming to yourself.
I’m thinking you should add this savvy sassy site to your regular reading lists so she can help you find some new ways to pimp out your tech.
Being tech-savvy and organized doesn’t mean you have to go with their stock pieces – you can and should go the customized route. The Erin Condren brand is perfect for doing just that. She offers personalized phone cases, iPad covers and much more.
You can add photos into the mix with her brightly colored designs. One of her more popular products is what she calls her “Life Planner” which isn’t techy at all but worth the mention for those of you who are like me and love tech but can’t seem to get completely away from the paper and pen planner. There’s just something about crossing things off of my to-do list, what can I say?
If you’re an Instagram junkie like this iPhone toting mama, then you’ll love the Castegram iPhone case where you can pull your favorites from your account and create the perfect case covered with lovely Instagram goodness.
Whether it’s scenic photos or photos of your little ones, this is the ultimate personalized iPhone case, no?
Are you looking for a skin to cover your laptop or tablet? The Gelaskins website has some fantastic designers on hand who offer some of the better stock design options I’ve seen if you’re looking to just pick out something fun, whimsical or modern.
There really is something for everyone in their gallery. If you’re looking to create your own, you can do that and they offer a video tutorial going over the process. It’s a site that pretty much meets your needs for photo or art inspired skins.
Pimping out your tech just makes it that much more fun to have those items laying around the house – add in the fact that all of our kids will be toting around their own tech before we know it (or already are!) and this eliminates the mixing up of those things.
I don’t know about you, but I want to make sure my husband is using his first edition iPad and not my precious new one…what? Call me selfish….
What’s your favorite way to pimp out your tech?Â
