The experts tell us to apply daily moisturizer and sunscreen in the AM and then to removing makeup and apply nighttime moisturizer in the PM. Then there’s cleansing, exfoliating and targeted moisturizing. Are there really any people out there that do all of this? I’ll be honest and admit that I don’t! But there are some products out there that can make trying to keep up with all of this much easier…they’re called wipes, towelettes and cleansing cloths. Here are some great ones that you can find just about anywhere!
Neutrogena Make-up Remover Wipes
These make-up remover wipes rock! If you have normal skin, these wipes will effectively remove dirt and makeup fast. Unlike some other wipes I’ve tried, these wipes even easily remove waterproof mascara without a whole lot of effort. And you can pick them up at Target for about $5.
I am a huge fan of sunscreen wipes for myself and for the kids. These towelettes are per-moistened in sweat-resistant, broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen that’s enriched with Vitamins E and B5, aloe and marine silk. Bonus? They smell like TOCCA’s classic scent of Italian blood oranges!
I haven’t tried these yet, but I’d love to. I use self-tanner a lot, however I’ve never tried them in a towelette form! What seems so cool about these is that they are an exfoliator and self-tanner in one. They are formulated with the sun vitamin, Active Vitamin D, and claim to provide a believable, natural color.
They are odorless and prevent fading through surface exfoliation. Alpha- and beta-hydroxy acids penetrate the skin to exfoliate, tighten pores, eliminate blackheads, and help fade existing sunspots for an even, streak-free glow.
They contain no parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, or phthalates, so they are good for your skin too.
This product is gentle enough for all skin types, vegan, and cruelty-free. It also won an Allure Best of Beauty award.
You can pick up 10 towelettes for $18…I think I’m going to give them a shot!
When blotting sheets first came out, I remember that they were a bit more pricey than a buck. Yep, you can pick 50 of these blotting sheets for $1.
What are blotting sheets? They are oil-blotting papers that you blot on your face to help eliminate shine, quickly refresh your skin, or even prep it for make-up touch ups. They work so well, and are easy to carry in your purse. My husband even uses them when we are out and about!
Do you ever use these kind of shortcuts on your skin? What are some of your favorite products?
