Along with all that inevitable spring cleaning and redecorating, a cleaner diet’s usually on the list as well. From healthy desserts the family will love and breakfasts on the go, to displaying photos with family heirlooms and playing games with paint chips, these blogs have you covered:

When desserts are actually healthy, everybody wins. These Healthy Lemon Squares from Chocolate Covered Katie are looking mighty tasty right about now. Yeah, it’s really late. So what? They’re good for you.

Baked Banana Oatmeal Cup

Speaking of food, here’s a Baked Banana Oatmeal Cup recipe from Eating Bird Food that looks good, won’t wreck your diet, and your kids might even eat them for breakfast because they’re “dessert.” I’ve made something similar to this before, but I put in dark chocolate chips instead of raisins.

Perfect Fit Protein Powder

Moms on the go will love that there’s a new protein powder on the market that probably won’t make you gag (review to come), Perfect Fit, from the girls of the massively successful Tone It Up blog. It’s free of gluten, artificial sweeteners (it has Stevia instead), fat, dairy, lactose…the list goes on so that it’s a “perfect fit” for everyone.

It comes in a single serving packet, so you don’t have to worry about measuring anything out when you make your smoothies in the morning or as an afternoon pick-me-up. I wonder if it’ll work well in a, uh, Frappuccino…

Cabin remodel

Even if you don’t have a cute little rustic cabin to update, you may still love some of the decorating ideas that Morning T has to offer. That first wall could easily be a collection of family photos and heirlooms set off by a single accent color in an otherwise neutral family room, foyer, etc.

Paint chip game

While you’re at that whole redecorating (or at least brightening up a room) thing, why not try the paint chip game from Sew Fantastic? It’s a good way to put all those paint chips to use and teach the little ones a thing or two about matching colors.

Enjoy!

Heading over to pin those lemon squares now!  It was the full calorie version that derailed my last healthy eating attempt.  Yep, totally blaming the lemon :)
