It’s been a long week and I’ve read some really awesome posts in the blogosphere this week, loads. These are the top blog posts that made me see beauty in the written word. These posts made me feel, think and made me glad to be alive.

There is beauty in empowerment. Heather Armstrong shows us that sometimes the most beautiful thing we can do for our self is own our feelings: Hair, day forty-six.

I found beauty in health when reading A Passionate Dad defends In-Class Birthday Treat, and I Respond. There is beauty in a parents love for their child, no matter what end of the spectrum of parenting you fall on.

A woman’s honesty and openness about looking into the face of serious decisions and introspectively facing her biggest fears. There is an authentic beauty in Pain: Being Pro-Choice and Talking Miscarriage.

A woman is most genuinely beautiful when she can see the beauty in herself. Shannon Colleary shares a beautiful epiphany that can only come with age and wisdom in My Final Nude Salvo.

Galit Breen, one of my absolute favorite writers in the blogosphere, celebrated her 36th birthday and her first blogiversary this week. I always find beauty in Galit’s words but I was especially touched by her way of finding beauty in the small moments: Laid Bare.

Another one of my favorite writers is Kelle Hampton who strives daily to find beauty in the ordinary. With her words, even a simple Stream Of Consciousness can transform you to a place of beauty and grace that surpasses all limitations of space and time.

Fashion Toast took a simple and beautiful photo and shows the world that there is a quiet Beauty in the Bare Minimum.  A simple dress that makes you feel comfortable in your own skin, paired with an amazing pair of kicks can cure all the ailments of the day.

Kia Design’s provided inspiration for finding beauty in interior design. The perfect Bedroom for Springtime was inspired not only by the season of new birth and bright colors, it took the ordinary and made it ooze with comfort and extraordinary sunlight.

Hi there – I found your site through The Lunch Tray’s blog stats and was so touched to be included in this lovely list. Thank you for the mention and for appreciating that there is indeed beauty in caring about our kids, even if we might disagree (as many of the commenters on my post are now doing!).
