If you are like me, then your photos are priceless — they are the threads of your life, your past, your experiences. Photographs are magical — they can take you immediately back to another place and time. They are history, and they are invaluable . . . especially if you’ve ever lost a bunch of them.
My husband and I took a trip to Fiji (before children of course!), and we took a ton of photos throughout the trip. And my husband, while messing around with the camera, somehow erased the photos from the first four days of our trip.
Yep. The private lunch at a secluded waterfall. The photos we took while exploring the island. The incredible sunsets. Pictures of the two of us together having dinner on the night of our anniversary. All of those photos gone.

So you see, I could’ve quickly downloaded the photos to ThisLife and not have had to worry about losing them.
Let me tell you a bit about ThisLife. I’ll be honest and tell you that I originally thought that it would be more work than it was worth. I imported a bunch of pictures from our home computer and watched ThisLife magic happen! You start tagging people in pictures, and ThisLife magically auto tags other photos that the person is in! It was AMAZING! Not only do I not have to tag each individual picture, but the photos are automatically put into chronological order. What a time saver!
I’m still getting pictures moved over, and it is so fun to go back through all of those magical firsts: first baby being born, the kids’ first steps, our wedding, first anniversary, and on and on. And it’s great because I can get all the pictures off of my phone, husband’s phone, his work computer, and don’t have to worry about trying to sort through them all !
