iPhoto for iPad: Not Your Mama’s iPhoto

I don’t use my iPhoto very often for editing photos on my desktop computer. These days it’s much easier for me to pull my photos into PicMonkey and bing!bang!boom! 3 minutes later I have a much better photo to use as my profile pic.

Pay attention, iPhoto may be making a come back as the go to photo editing software tool on iPad and iPhone. It is simple, convenient to sort and easily fixes your photos in your iPad/iPhone library with direct access to your iPad or iPhone. So much easier than it is to import and pull the photos of your kids on a field trip into Photoshop or PicMonkey, whatever your preference may be.

With the new iPhoto, you can also post your photos to Facebook, Flickr or Twitter directly from the app. I love my social media so this is a huge plus factor for me.

Obviously, the iPad version is easier to see and navigate, due to the sheer size factor. iPhoto is loads of fun to use to edit your photos on your iPhone and iPad and so simple your 3-year-old and even your grandma can figure it out.

There are other photo editing programs available on iPhone and the iPad. Instagram offers lots of fun filters and Hipstamatic, my personal favorite, is a blast if you have the time and enthusiasm to change out the film and flashes.

Don’t even bother looking for PicMonkey the app because it’s not what you think it is and there is a warning for frequent/intense sexual content or nudity so, I am assuming it’s not the same PicMonkey we were all looking for.

What is your go to iPhone or iPad photo editing software?
