We’ve all had “fat†days. Whether it’s “that†time of the month (shark week as I like to refer to it), around the holidays, or during the heat of the summer when we retain water. Or maybe we’ve just given up on spin class in the name of some much needed sleep.
Or maybe you are newly pregnant and the hormone change has you retaining water and bloated out to the size of a 6-month pregnant woman. Our body’s ratting us out to the world. Thanks to Mother Nature, we all have “fat†days.
I know I’d rather just hide out in my robe, one week a month, but if that’s not an option here are some suggestions you can wear to hide the shark week bulge without having to resort to the yoga pants and sweatshirt.
Tunic Tops: They hang a little longer and are cut a little looser.
Slouchy Tops with Leggings: It’s basically as comfortable as the yoga pants that you own and way more stylish.
Sundresses: If you buy the nice blousy type, it should allow for plenty of room for bloating without your clothes sticking to you and making you feel self-conscious.
Empire Waist Dresses: This is my favorite go to “fat†day outfit. It truly is the only thing that I own that is MORE comfortable then my yoga pants and sweat shirt. These dresses usually have a really pretty pattern, are made of a cool material that has some spandex in it so it is comfortable, and thanks to your new best friend “the empire waist†that dress is swinging nowhere near your little bloated belly.
What is your go to “fat day†outfit?
