I adore my girlfriends. They are the rocks that keep me grounded, sane when the kids are driving me batty and allow me a reprieve when life gets a little too heavy – so with that in mind, I like to keep an eye out for gifts that will show them just how much they mean to me.

Volere Purse Box Wine

How fun are these purse box wines? I first spotted them on KLG and Hoda on the Today’s Show and thought they were fantastic! They come in Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and a Rose. They are a fun way to bring a drink to a friends house for a chat and commiserate or celebrate depending on what is happening in your lives at that time.  Also…they’re only $15…yeah. Done.

Charm Bracelets

With so many options out there like Pandora, Brighton, Troll Beads, Nomades and others, this is a great gift option to give a good friend. Some are more expensive than others, with Brighton being the more affordable option of those listed.

What I like about this gift is you can find various charms over the years as you create memories and commemorate those things together. For me, as a military spouse who moves a lot, it helps me to remember places, people and stages in our life as well. It’s a great gift option.

Painted Wine/Martini Glasses

I love this option for a gift as one that you can make yourself or pick up. They have so many options for personalized glasses that you can almost always find something fitting to the personality, event or location as a way to honor the event you are celebrating, or remember a time together.

Digital Photo Book or Movie

I once had a friend put together a digital slideshow of all the pictures we had taken over a two year period and give it to me right before we moved away (got to love the military life!) and it is something I have  treasured for years and years – more so than any other gift I have ever received.

I listen to some of our favorite songs while I reminisce on our youth – because it shows the years before we all had kids and we all moved to different parts of the the U.S. They are some of the best years of my life and that was one of my all-time favorite gifts.

Photo books are another way to offer this same type of gift to a friend. They have these new smash books that are fantastic for putting memorabilia in, and they’re very reminiscent of those notebooks we’d put together in school.

However you decide to honor your friendships with your girlfriends, even if it’s just sending a card during a time that’s particularly difficult, it’s worth that effort because you are helping them through or you are simply letting them know you care and that their friendship means something to you. So keep these ideas in the back of your mind and surprise a friend sometime soon.

I like all of these ideas a lot. Pandora beads have been a lifesaver for one of my girlfriends who is particularly difficult to shop for ;)

Great ideas! Would love to pair a purse wine box with some painted wine glasses. . .
