Five Dreamy Iron Beds

There’s just something romantic about an old-fashioned iron bed. Although they originally came to be as a result of termite infestations in wooden beds back in the days of yore, the result was a genre of bedroom furniture that’s at once strong and delicate, and lately, available in a wide array of colors and styles.

Iron beds pack a powerful punch of style without necessarily leaving a hole in anyone’s pocket, either; pricing runs the gamut from under $100 (see IKEA) to several thousand for high-end designer versions. But the best part is, the only person who knows the difference is the person who bought it in the first place.

Style is style, and beauty is beauty; this quintet of beds in particular just so happens to have both in spades.

To be honest I like the last one but that is just due to growing up wanting to live in the woods. x]
