The older I get, the more I realize how important (and required!) taking care of your skin on a regular basis really is. I’m not talking about just washing your face, using moisturizer, and wearing sunscreen – although those things are all very important – I’m also talking about taking care of all of your skin.
I am a huge fan of scented body lotions, and I have hand lotion stashed all over the house. What I don’t do nearly enough of is exfoliating my body and face or pay attention to those areas that need extra care (like my knees and elbows).
Which is why I was excited to discover Devorah Naturals. Devorah Naturals is committed to using only the highest quality plant oils, butters, herbs and flowers which are used to give you the maximum skin experience. And it’s almost 100% all organic and completely all natural.
Devorah’s goal is to create quality skin care for all ages and skin types through the best possible ingredients. Period.
While looking around the site, I loved this quote on their Our Commitment page:
heeds no age, culture, color,
but shines from within.
So I’m an automatic fan! Now on to all of the products . . .
Not only do they have moisturizing lotions, but they also have butters, creams, and balms. No matter what type of shape your skin is in, there’s a moisturizer on the site that will suit your needs.
I’m currently eyeing the Herbal Skincare Balm, packed full of organic olive oil infused with organic herbs and flowers like organic rosehip oil, apricot kernel oil, organic evening primrose oil, vitamin E and unrefined beeswax. I think it would be great on my dry, knees, elbows, and heels. And at only $12, it’s worth a shot!
There’s also a line of Dead Sea products for both the face and body that I’d like to check out. Water from the Dead Sea contains a high mineral content. This brine helps to revitalize, exfoliate, moisturize and condition so you end up with smooth, silky skin. I’ve always wanted to try it!
Another cool feature on the site is that there is Ingredient Glossary, listing the properties and benefits of each ingredient so that you can make an informed decision about your skincare.
And the prices are extremely reasonable for what sounds like very high-quality, organic products. And I love the humor on their Specials page. You can pick up some mystery-scented soap for only $2 or $3 a bar!
I can’t wait to try out some of Devorah Naturals products. Do these sound like products you would purchase? I think they’d make a great gift, and the holidays are just around the corner . . .
