With the onslaught of party planning websites and the inspiration board addiction that is Pinterest, many of us have aspirations of grandeur when it comes to planning our parties and we love the idea of putting on a soiree that will knock the socks off of our party guests.
If only it weren’t for that pesky budget.
Enter CV linens.
If you are a person who likes to throw a good party several times a year, and one that requires standard linens like floor length white table clothes and maybe even the occasional themed color or fantastic print like damask, CV linens is an affordable option.
Why rent a table cloth for $15-25 when you can purchase it yourself for around the same price and then use it over and over again for years to come?
For example, I have several white floor length table clothes from CV Linens that I have used for multiple baby showers and kid birthday parties, and they have worked out really well. Additionally, I have a few of their damask prints and colored napkins that have worked well for a few other parties (Little Black Dress party anyone?) and I have not been disappointed.
What you have to decide when you purchase these items is whether or not you plan to use them multiple times. Will you have a Little Black Dress party with damask table clothes again? Maybe not. But, can you use those damask table clothes for a Halloween party or some other themed occasion down the line? Perhaps.
This year, I used the damask clothes for our New Years Eve party, making it the third time I’ve put them to use. And so the decision to purchase them rather than rent them was a good one in our case.
I love a good party. But, like many other mothers, I don’t get out like I used to, so once or twice a year, I bring the party to us and this particular company has helped me do that for a reasonable rate.
This mom is far from wealthy, but every once in a while, it’s nice to indulge in a festive adult gathering with friends that is more than just burgers on the grill – which is our norm, and totally fun – but give me a little black dress every once and a while – mama needs to feel pretty.
