Do you do any of your shopping online? I used to love shopping. I could literally spend hours at the mall, weaving in and out of boutiques and department stores trying on different looks until I found just the right combination of size, style, look and cost. There was nothing quite like grabbing a girlfriend and an iced mocha and heading out to the shops.
There is a thrill in the hunt. That was before I had children.
Now, a trip to the mall usually entails a stop at the food court for lunch and Build-A-Bear before the meltdowns start and we have to abruptly leave. As you can imagine, shopping has lost its appeal for me. It’s not something I do for fun these days.
Shopping is now 25 minutes in Target before someone has to pee, gets bored or wants to leave. That is unless they have found something to relentlessly beg me for, like nail polish or bubble gum. It’s exhausting and totally not worth it.
But I still love shopping. I still love the hunt for the perfect outfit to wear for just the right occasion for the exact right price. Luckily, I’ve discovered online shopping to satisfy that desire to shop. Here are a few of my favorite online shops.
Some of these online shops you may be familiar with and others, maybe not, but they are fantastically cute and pretty affordable.
