Face highlighters can give your face the lift that makes you look more awake and alert than you actually are. Get a youthful, well-rested glow with one of the best liquid or powder highlighters out there. Just apply it to the tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, and under your brow bones.

Benefit Moon Beam: For those with warm tones in their skin and a light to medium complexion, Benefit Moon Beam melds into the skin and makes you look lit from within. This is a sister product to their ever-popular High Beam. It’s the perfect alternative to powders for ladies with dry skin, but it’s not heavy or too creamy.

Benefit High Beam: High Beam is an opalescent, pinkish-white highlighter that’s perfect for fair to medium skin tones with cool undertones. It’s a lightweight liquid that shouldn’t be too much, even for oily complexions.

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer: The Mary Lou Manizer is a finely-milled pressed powder that can add a candlelit glow to the skin by diffusing the light. It’s a pale honey color, so it’ll fit several skin tones.

NARS Albatross: Albatross is a pressed powder that has golden and pink undertones, so it will work for cool, warm, or neutral undertones. It’s fairly light, so anyone with darker skin may want to look elsewhere. Light to medium skin tones, however, will wear it well. It’s finely milled and one of the most dramatic of this list.

NARS Illuminator in Copacabana or Laguna: Women of all skin tones can rejoice over the selection of NARS Illuminators. There’s Copacabana for the fair-skinned ladies, and Laguna for tan or darker skin tones.

New York Color Sparkle Eye Dust: This shimmery option from NYC is the least expensive and perfect for a date night, and there are three shades that could work as cheek highlighters: Opal Sparkle, Champagne, and Pink Champagne.
