A missing 12-year-old, Amber Whitlow, from Little Rock, Arkansas was found safe Saturday night in Memphis, Tennessee. Amber’s adoptive parents were found slain earlier in the day on Saturday, July 28th.

The couple, Annette and Bobby Whitlow, were both in their 60’s. Amber was found safe with her older brother, 33-year-old, Antonio Whitlow. He is now a suspect in the abduction and slaying of his parents.

Officers received a call shortly after 3 p.m. on Saturday from a church member who was supposed to meet with the couple. Upon arriving, the church member discovered Annette Whitlow’s body just inside the doorway. When police arrived on scene, they found Bobby Whitlow’s body. Details of how the couple was murdered have not been released yet.

Antonio Whitlow was wanted on one count of kidnapping and two counts of capital murder in connection with the slayings of his 65-year-old parents, Annette and Bobby Whitlow, Davis said.

Amber was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Antonio Whitlow is in custody in Memphis. What is clear is that a little girl was taken from her caregivers and may be the only eyewitness to what really happened to them on Saturday.

I hope that she saw nothing and only found out her parents were dead after she was rescued by authorities. Our thoughts and prayers are with Amber Whitlow and the family of her Annette and Bobby Whitlow.
