The more I’m on my computer and smart phone, the more cool products and apps I find to make my life easier. And since I can sync up most programs/apps that I use on my computer and phone, it’s never been easier to get organized and stay organized!
Here are some really great tech products worth looking into…some of them are even free!
I’ve told you before about an online calendar that is super cool, and super easy to use…Cozi. I recently found another one that I’m really liking and plan to continue to use! It’s Google Calendar, it’s free, and worth checking out. With many of (most of) the same features as Cozi, one of the things that I like about Google Calendar is that it connects to all of my other “Google stuff” like my account, Google docs, etc.
Not only do I use it to to schedule events, but I also add in the address of the event so when I’m in the car and on my way, I just open up the calendar on my smart phone, click on the event’s location and have it also include driving instructions.
Funny name, invaluable product!
I use my iPad just about everywhere. For example, in the kitchen I use it as a cookbook, and so often find it necessary to prop it up like it’s on a cookbook stand. I’ve even taken it in the bathroom with me to follow directions for a new hairstyle! At the bowling alley, I take it with me to keep my son busy while I bowl. See? I told you I used it a lot! Which is why I want The Stump
The Stump is a portable, rubberized disc with an indentation that allows you to display your iPad (or other tablet, smart phone, or e-reader). If you don’t have an iPad cover that acts as a stand too, then you need The Stump! You can prop your device on The Stump in three different ways: upright, with a lean, or like a ramp.
The Stump is designed so that the bottom doesn’t block any part of your screen and is heavy enough that you don’t have to worry about it tipping over. And for only around $25, it’s cheaper than purchasing a cover!
JotNot Scanner Pro
Wish you had a scanner when you are on the go? Wish you could just take a picture of a receipt and then toss it before you lose it? Yeah, me too. And for just $.99, you can turn your iPhone into a scanner with JotNot Scanner Pro
All you have to do is load the JotNot app onto your iPhone, and you’re ready to go. You simply take a picture of whatever you need to scan and then use the Simple Sizer to fit it to your screen. Hit process, and JotNot Pro allows you to name and organize your scans, email as PDFs, JPGs, or PNGs, or even fax them. Cool, huh?
Which tech products could you not live without?
