I’m not ashamed to admit it: I love trying out all of those “As Seen On TV” products that you always wonder if they really work as well as they seem to on TV. I’m a sucker for them I guess you could say because half the time, I’m disappointed and out money for products that are really terrible. But every now and then, I am pleasantly surprised when I purchase one of these kinds of products and they actually are worth it!
So here are three “As Seen On TV” products that I have purchased, and use on a regular basis. Products that I recommend to friends and family, that I’m now recommending to you!
Yoshi Blade
Probably my favorite “As Seen On TV” purchase ever! The Yoshi Blade really works: on everything from raw and cooked meat to soft produce (tomatoes) and even soft breads and cheeses. And it cuts through all of these things quickly, effortlessly, and efficiently.
The Yoshi Blade is a ceramic knife made of natural eco-friendly ceramic materials that’s guaranteed to stay sharp, and won’t rust or pit. You don’t have to worry about sharpening it or breaking it. I’ve had mine for close to a year now, and so far I’ve never sharpened it once, and it still works as good as it did the day I bought it.
Perfect Meatloaf
We eat meatloaf every week in our house, and so I’ve always been frustrated by how messy it is to make it because of all the fat and juices that run into the pan and turn the meatloaf soggy. Not anymore! My most recent purchase was the Perfect Meatloaf pan, and I was shocked by the difference that the tray makes!
This pan is non-stick and super easy to clean. You just prepare your meatloaf, place it on the custom-fitted air bake tray, and cook it. The air bake tray elevates the meat so heat can circulate underneath and cook evenly . . . and it leaves all the fat in the bottom of the pan so your meatloaf isn’t swimming in it. If you make a lot of meatloaves, this is a must have!
Vidalia Chop Wizard
I hate cutting onions and garlic, but I cook with them so often that I’m always forced to! When I do it by hand, they never come out the same size and it takes me forever. Until I found the Vidalia Chop Wizard
It is SO easy to use! You can use it to cut just about any veggies or fruits. For example, I skin an onion, chop it in half and stick i on top of the green chopping blade tray. Then I push down on the cover, and voila! Perfectly chopped, uniform onions! There’s two different sized trays, one for larger sized pieces and one for smaller ones (or smaller items like garlic or nuts).
Do you ever buy “As Seen On TV” products? Which ones do you like or dislike?
